Spoiler alert it is all about mixing paint and finding new combinations to achieve your goals and create variety in your work. I used a painting from the Cape Cod school of art to mix colors and then plugged them into a composition I had already painted using my usual colors. I enjoy the result and plan to do more of these. It is fun and lots of learning happens.
What I have learned so far: You don't need to buy more tubes of paint just learn how to mix the colors you have strategically.
Making your own color wheel will allows you to see at a glance exactly who your "cast of characters" is. So when the lights go out and the curtain goes up you can know who your actors are instantly.
What I have learned so far:
I am a watercolor coach, watercolorist, and author.
