Spoiler alert it is all about mixing paint and finding new combinations to achieve your goals and create variety in your work. I used a painting from the Cape Cod school of art to mix colors and then plugged them into a composition I had already painted using my usual colors. I enjoy the result and plan to do more of these. It is fun and lots of learning happens.
What I have learned so far: You don't need to buy more tubes of paint just learn how to mix the colors you have strategically.
