If you can draw two circle you can paint this picture. Perhaps your beachball will be a different color or have stripes or polka-dots. Remember to have fun and make the shadow darker than any other shape in the picture. 

The month of peony plants blooming is here and in my garden the dancing girl is dancing on the blossoms.

Today Callie the collie was peeking out the door inviting the peonies on either side of her to get with the program and bloom already. 
I finished the headboard project by bringing the gray square down to the floor . The next project is going to be replacing all the boob lights in my house. Once you see it you can not "unsee" it. 
I painted the peony today with as few brushstrokes as possible. That was always my goal when I began this Peony Quest in 2013. I have come a long way since painting each petal. 

I wanted to buy a new bed with a square gray headboard but decided to try to paint one instead. I think it looks pretty good. What do you think? Should I bring the gray square down to the floor? I also decided to increase the length and width of a painting by painting a gray square behind it. I also included the first thing I see when I wake up every morning. My gallery of 8x8 inch oil paintings all my friends are represented. I have another one of these downstairs. They are hung with command strips so they can be changed or rearranged at any time. I do love home projects that cost very little.
